The United States does not currently produce the synthetic graphite it depends on. Every lithium-ion battery, every nuclear reactor core, every hypersonic vehicle, and every precision industrial process relies on a material that is almost entirely imported, with the overwhelming majority of global supply concentrated in a single adversarial nation.
This is not a commercial inconvenience. It is a structural vulnerability at the foundation of American energy, defense, and advanced manufacturing. A disruption to the supply chain, whether through export controls, geopolitical escalation, or deliberate price manipulation, would bring critical programs to a halt within weeks.
Terrion was founded to close this gap. We are building the first integrated domestic supply chain for synthetic graphite, from feedstock through finished material, engineered to meet the specifications of the most demanding defense, energy, and industrial applications. The work is deliberate. The standards are uncompromising. The objective is singular: American material sovereignty.

Kam builds companies that become national assets. He founded SGT, which grew into NASA's second-largest engineering services provider ($500M+ annual revenue) before its acquisition by KBR. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of X-energy, Intuitive Machines, Axiom Space, and Quantum Space. Through IBX, he has raised $2B+ in private capital to scale companies at the intersection of advanced technology and national security.
Dustin captures government contracts. With a 25-year track record across space, energy, and defense, he has secured 14 strategic programs worth $4.2B. He specializes in early-stage advanced technology companies from growth planning to contract capture through operations
The chemistry behind Terrion came from Pete's decades of graphite research, starting at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and continuing through his work at the Department of Energy managing fusion materials R&D. He went on to lead fuel production at X Energy, where as President of TRISO-X he oversaw construction of a fuel manufacturing facility and qualified TRISO fuel particles for next-generation reactors.
