Kam builds companies that become national assets. He founded SGT, which grew into NASA's second-largest engineering services provider ($500M+ annual revenue) before its acquisition by KBR. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of X-energy, Intuitive Machines, Axiom Space, and Quantum Space. Through IBX, he has raised $2B+ in private capital to scale companies at the intersection of advanced technology and national security.

At Terrion, he leads corporate strategy, capitalization, government and commercial growth, industrial scale-up, strategic partnerships, and company operations.

The chemistry behind Terrion came from Pete's decades of graphite research, starting at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and continuing through his work at the Department of Energy managing fusion materials R&D. He went on to lead fuel production at X Energy, where as President of TRISO-X he oversaw construction of a fuel manufacturing facility and qualified TRISO fuel particles for next-generation reactors.
